Thomas Fryland quintet plays the music of Thomas Fryland and Simon Thorsen. This band also plays arrangements of Jazz standards.
The music was recorded and released in 1999 by Music Mecca (Ambia Music). Line-up: Thomas Fryland (trpt), Simon Thorsen (sax), Ole Koch Hansen (pi), Jesper Bodilsen (bas), Frands Rifbjerg (dr).

"Playing in the Breeze" was recorded in 1995 and featured Jacob Fischer and Jesper Lundgaard. This trio recording was awarded "best Jazz release in Denmark 1995".

"Copenhagen Sunset" was the debut record of Thomas Fryland. This CD features dutch musicians such as Marco Kegel (Sax) and Yvo Verschoor (piano), german drummer Jo Krause and danish bass player Jesper Lundgaard. The musicians is a mix of Tristano and Konitz tunes as well as a couple of originals by Fryland. The music was released in 1993 by Music Partner.

"A Fairy's Tale" was a quartet recording, released in 1994. It features dutch piano player Rob van Bavel, Jesper Lundgaard and Alex Riel.

This was a live performance recorded at Copenhagen JazzHouse in 1996. It features the incredible skills of dutch piano player Rob van Bavel and bass player Jesper Lundgaard.

Quartet recording from 1995 featuring Jacob Fischer, Jesper Lundgaard and Svend Erik Nørregaard. This session highlights a number of beautiful, rarely played standards. "Perfume and Rain" is a wonderful song by pianist Ellis Larkins.

"The Main Ingredients" was the first release on Music Mecca in 1997.

"Songs in my Heart" features the great Doug Raney on guitar, tenorist Bernd Rosengren and the young spirits of bassist Joshua Ginsberg and Jacob Høyer on drums. This session was recorded and released in 1997.
